JOB OPENINGS
BCCII Foundation Administrative Assistant
This individual reports directly to the Foundation Director and is responsible for all duties assigned by the Director and/or Board Members.
Major Job Responsibilities:
All receptionist duties
- Phone, walk-ins, mail, emails, and other general office duties
- Responsible to maintain office – inside and outside
- Receive and process all incoming and outgoing mail
- Order and stock all necessary office supplies
Help maintain all Foundation Records and Binders
- Minutes of all board activities and committees
- All Foundation files
- All Grant and Scholarship files
- All Loan files
- Records of personnel and office procedures
- Fund guidelines
- All policies related to investments, grants, personnel, and other office procedures
- Professional Notebooks (hardcopy and/or electronic)
- Maintain Board Member Contact List
Marketing: Help keep the visibility and increase public awareness of BCCII activates and community functions.
- Assist with newspaper adds
- Post activities on community board sites
Work with Director on important Foundation functions.
- Match Day
- Church Grants
- Teacher Grants
- E-Community/E-Fair
Update Monthly check sheet of foundation obligations/duties for the director and assist with accomplishing those tasks.
This is a paid, full-time position.
EXPERIENCE:
• Administrative office experience is preferred.
SKILLS:
• Excellent oral, written and computer skills; Knowledge of, or willing to learn QuickBooks, database management, Microsoft Office, and web research.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision on assigned tasks.
• Strong interpersonal and networking skills among groups.
• Ability to effectively interact and communicate with others in a professional and appropriate manner while maintaining a healthy sense of humor.
• Knowledge of the Bird City community.
RESIDENCE:
• Residence in the Cheylin School District preferred.
